Gymnast Carlos Yulo qualifies for Tokyo Olympics
Filipino gymnast Carlos Edriel Yulo has qualified to compete in the upcoming 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
The 19-year-old qualified for the Olympics after placing 18th in the individual all-around qualification of the 49th FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships for the men's division held in Stuttgart, Germany.
Yulo secured his standing with an output of 82.164.

Yulo previously won a gold medal in the 2019 World Cup Gymnastics held in Melbourne, Australia.
He is the second Filipino athlete to qualify for the Olympics, following pole vaulter EJ Obiena.
