Stephen Loman makes successful title defense in Manila

MANILA - Reigning Brave bantamweight champion Stephen Loman of Baguio City's Team Lakay made a successful third defense his title following technical knockout victory over Elias Boudegzdame in the main event of "Brave 22: Storm of Warriors," Friday night at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay.

It was a back and forth action throughout the contest, but it only took one clean shot from Loman to ultimately end the night for his visiting foe.

After landing a hard left hand on top, Boudegzdame dropped to the canvas as Loman rained down punches and elbows at his defenseless foe.

Unable to guard himself nor get back up, the referee promptly halted the contest at the 4:59 mark of round four.

The TKO victory improved Loman's record to 12-2 while Boudegzdame fell to 15-6. — DVM, GMA News
