PHL hockey team wins 2 consecutive games in Sapporo

The 23-Man Philippine Ice Hockey Team proves to be a force to reckon as it recorded back-to-back wins in the ongoing 2017 Asian Winter Games in Saporro, Japan.

After a lopsided 14-2 win against Qatar last Thursday, Team Philippines scored an 8-3 victory against Kuwait on Friday.

Kuwait is competing under the Independent Olympic Athletes flag after the Kuwait Olympic Committee was suspended October 2015 due to political interference.

The Philippine hockey team unfortunately lost to Kyrgystan 10-5 last Tuesday.
