Japanese pole-vaulter's Olympic effort ends after ‘he’ snags bar
According to a post on social media website 9GAG, Japanese pole-vaulter Hiroki Ogita's dreams of a medal at the Rio Olympics came to an end after he failed to get past the initial qualifiers because his "privates" snagged the cross-bar.
Ogita ended up 11th among the Group A pole-vaulters, clearing 5.45 meters.
According to the International Association of Athletics Federations, Ogita's best indoor pole-vault was 5.7m, which he did in 2013 and earlier this year, and 5.65m outdoors in 2015. — GMA News
