Touch rugby debuts at PSC Batang Pinoy Games

 

SOS Children's Village Team B toppled the Davao Durians Junior Rugby team, 4-2, for a gold medal finish at the the PSC Batang Pinoy National Youth Games Touch Rugby competition held at the Iba Zambales Sports Complex last October 19.

 

Clark Rugby Club came home with third place, after defeating SOS Children's Village Team A, 5-0, while the Cebu Junior Dragons and G4S Child Hope Foundation finished in fifth and sixth place, respectively. 

 

It is the first time that touch rugby was included in the Pinoy National Youth Games. A total of 70 athletes from Pampanga, Muntinlupa, Manila, Cebu and Davao participated in the innaugural tournament. - RAF, GMA News
