FIFA Futsal Women's World Cup in PH to kick off in November 2025

The first FIFA Futsal Women's World Cup which will be hosted by the Philippines will be held on November 21 to December 7, 2025.

FIFA made the announcement on Thursday.

In a press conference on Friday, Philippine Football Federation president John Gutierrez said they are on track in terms of preparations for the Futsal Women's World Cup.

"Very exciting times for us, especially for futsal enthusiasts," Gutierrez said, adding that some national team players "have committed their services to the futsal women's team."

According to the PFF head, aside from the Philippines, New Zealand has also been qualified for the first Futsal Women's World Cup.

Previously, the PFF said they are eyeing two venues for the tournament although nothing was set in stone yet at that time .
