Philippine men’s national football team names 28-man lineup for World Cup Qualifiers window
The Philippine men’s national football team on Monday announced its lineup for the March window of the FIFA World Cup 2026 Qualifiers.
The Philippine Football Federation named 28 players to the squad, which will play two games against Iraq this month as part of the qualifiers.
Forwards Andres Aldeguer, Jeremiah Borlongan, Jarvey Gayoso, Theo Libarnes, Patrick Reichelt, and Chima Uzika; midfielders Justin Baas, Michael Baldisimo, Matthew Baldisimo, Kevin Ingreso, Oskari Kekkonen, Mike Ott, Jose Elmer Porteria, Santiago Rublico, and Mark Swainston; defenders Amani Aguinaldo, Pocholo Bugas, Marco Casambre, Jesse Curran, Simen Lyngbo, Jesper Nyholm, Christian Rontini, Daisuke Sato, Jefferson Tabinas, and Paul Bismarck Tabinas; and goalkeepers Patrick Deyto, Neil Etheridge, and Kevin Ray Mendoza were named part of the roster.
The squad will be led by head coach Tom Saintfiet, who was appointed to the post last month.
The first match will be an away game on March 21 while the second will be a home game on March 26 at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.
