Women's World Cup core led by Bolden, McDaniel to banner Filipinas in Asian Games

Sarina Bolden, Olivia McDaniel, and other members of the core of the Philippines' 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup squad will continue to banner the country in the upcoming 19th Asian Games next week in Hangzhou, China.

Bolden, who delivered the Filipinas' lone goal at the global showpiece last July, and veteran goalkeeper McDaniel have been included in the 21-man pool released by the federation on Tuesday.

Also called up once more are Kiara Fontanilla, Reina Bonta, Jessika Cowart, Sofia Harrison, Hali Long, Anicka Casteñeda, Sara Eggesvik, Quinley Quezada, Jaclyn Sawicki, Katrina Guillou, Chandler McDaniel, and Meryl Serrano.

Completing the pool are Inna Palacios, Eva Madarang, Kaya Hawkinson, Natalie Oca, Isabella Pasion, Camille Rodriguez, and Alisha Del Ocampo.

Headed by recently-appointed mentor Mark Torcaso, the Filipinas will take on Hong Kong first on September 22 before they face South Korea and Myanmar on September 25 and 28, respectively.
