Filipinas visit Gilas Pilipinas ahead of FIBA World Cup

The Philippine women's national football team Filipinas visited Gilas Pilipinas during the latter's practice on Friday at the Philsports Arena in Pasig.

The visit happened exactly two weeks before the national basketball team starts its campaign in the 2023 FIBA World Cup, and weeks after the Filipinas wrapped their historic campaign in the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup.

The Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas shared some photos of the meeting between the two World Cup teams.

In a social media post, the Filipinas wished Gilas the best for their World Cup campaign.

Gilas will take on Dominican Republic when it starts its campaign in the basketball World Cup on August 25.
