Filipino fans jump for joy as Filipinas get first FIFA Women's World Cup win
Filipino fans rallied behind the Philippine women's national football team as they won against New Zealand, 1-0, for their first-ever win in the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup on Tuesday in Wellington, New Zealand.
The Filipino fans in attendance in Wellington went wild having seen the Philippines' first-ever goal in the World Cup stage with their own eyes, delivered courtesy of Sarina Bolden at the 24th minute of the match.

Back in the Philippines, crowds were also celebrating wildly, like the one in a watch party organized by Filipinas sponsor adidas in Makati following Bolden's historic goal.

Filipino pride was evident in the fans over at the watch party in UP Town Center in Quezon City organized by the Philippine Football Federation, the New Zealand Embassy, and Coca-Cola Philippines after the Philippines sealed the deal.
