Azkals fall to Chinese Taipei, 3-2, in friendly


The Philippine national men's football team fell to Chinese Taipei, 3-2, in their second FIFA International Friendly match on a rainy Monday in Rizal Memorial Stadium.

It took just two minutes for Chinese Taipei to score their first goal, but Mike Ott scored the equalizer for the Azkals in the 13th minute.

Patrick Reichelt scored his goal at the 39th minute to give the nationals the lead, 2-1, at halftime.

Chinese Taipei scored their own equalizer at the 58th minute before they made their third goal at the 89th minute to give them the win.

The Azkals' won against Nepal, 1-0, last Thursday in Michael Weiss' first game in his return to the Philippines.
