Filipinas clinch bronze medal in SEA Games women's football

The World Cup-bound Filipinas delivered again, this time, in Southeast Asian football.

On Saturday, the Philippine national women's football team came from behind to clinch a bronze medal against Myanmar, 2-1, in the 31st Southeast Asian Games in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Down 0-1 at the end of the first half, the Filipinas scored two consecutive goals, the first at the 73' mark from Sarina Bolden and the second at the 76' mark from Quinley Quezada.

This is the Philippine's first podium finish in women's football since 1985 where it placed third among three teams.
