PHL U-23 wraps AFF U-23 Youth Championship with win over Brunei

The Philippines wrapped its campaign in the AFF U-23 Youth Championship held in Cambodia on a high note with a 2-1 victory over Brunei.

After a goalless first half, Dennis Chung and Sandro Reyes delivered the two goals for the Philippines. Muhammad Hakeme Yazid bin Said, meanwhile, made the lone goal for Brunei at the 59' mark.

Both countries failed to advance to the semis as Timor-Leste topped Group A. Cambodia, meanwhile, may advance based on rankings.
