Stallion Laguna FC pounds debuting Dynamic Herb Cebu in Copa Paulino Alcantara

Stallion Laguna FC made easy work of the debuting Dynamic Herb Cebu after walking away with a 1-0 victory in the 2021 Copa Paulino Alcantara group stage on Wednesday at the PFF National Training Center in Carmona, Cavite.

Abou Sy scored the lone goal at the 18th minute as his club took the top spot in Group A.

With the win, Stallion Laguna already clinched a semifinal berth and now awaits the winner of the match between the Azkals Development Team and Mendiola FC on Saturday to determine its next opponent.

Despite the loss, Dynamic Herb Cebu is also assured of a semis spot as Group A is composed of only two clubs following the withdrawal of United City FC.

The team faces a tall task ahead in its upcoming clash against powerhouse Kaya FC-Iloilo, which earlier punched its semis ticket with a dominating 6-0 win over Mendiola FC.
