Neil Etheridge inks 4-year deal with Birmingham FC

Neil Etheridge has signed a four-year deal with Birmingham Football Club after his stint with Cardiff FC.

The club announced the news on Friday, but did not disclose details about Etheridge's fee. The goalkeeper transferred as a free agent.

In an Instagram post, Etheridge thanked Cardiff City FC "for everything they've done for me."

"The past 3 years we've had such an amazing time together, being promoted in my first season to the Premier League, and even though we were relegated we gave it a right go in the best league in the world!" he said.

Etheridge also wished Cardiff City the best as he moved to Birmingham.

"We made some fantastic memories together and I'll never forget the part the Club and supporters played," said the goalkeeper.

One of the Etheridge's highlights in the Premier League include saving a penalty to give Cardiff its first away win against Leicester back in 2018.
