Fans had a hard time getting belongings after SEA Games PHL-Cambodia football match
Football fans had a hard time getting their belongings after the Philippines (Azkals) vs. Cambodia match Monday night during SEA Games 2019 at the Rizal Memorial Stadium in Manila.
The fans crowded around the lone baggage counter available, according to a report on GMA News' Unang Balita on Tuesday.
Spectators were prohibited from bringing in to the stadium their bags and such items as firearms, sharp objects, bottles, cans, food, drinks, pets, big banners, drones, laser pointers, video cameras and selfie sticks.
The lack of restrooms at the grandstand also posed a problem although there were some portable toilets outside.
During Monday night's game, the Philippine Azkals' Dennis Chung salvaged a point against Cambodia to end the game in a draw, 1-1.
The Azkals U-22 will face Myanmar on Wednesday.
Hours before the Monday night game, the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex was still undergoing renovation in some parts.
Renovation works continued on Tuesday at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum. —KG, GMA News
