Skye Chua proudly carries PH flag at 2025 FISU Winter World University Games in Italy

Skye Chua proudly raised the Philippine flag at the 2025 FISU Winter World University Games in Turin, Italy.

On Instagram, Sparkle shared some snaps of the professional figure skater at the opening ceremony of the competition.

Skye, a University of the Philippines sports science student, is the school's first Winter Universiade competitor.

Previously, Skye told GMA News Online that despite feeling pressured, she is excited to compete in such a big competition.

"Of course, there's pressure to perform well but at the same time, I'm really excited kasi gusto ko makita like how it is to compete in such a big competition and see everyone na din, 'yung mga skaters," she said.

A national figure skater, Skye previously competed at the SEA Open Figure Skating Trophy in July, where she placed third.

As an actress, Skye recently appeared in GMA Prime series "Pulang Araw" as Japanese character Yuki. She was also part of the figure skating series "Hearts on Ice" starring Ashley Ortega and Xian Lim.
