Team Philippines in the Paris Olympics opening ceremony

The rain did not dampen the spirits of the Philippines' delegation as the athletes and sports officials still smiled during the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Olympic silver medalists and boxers Nesthy Petecio and Carlo Paalam led the delegation as the Philippines' boat made its way through the River Seine. The Philippines shared the boat with Poland and Puerto Rico.

The Philippine Olympic Committee shared on social media photos of the delegation on Saturday before the ceremony.

The Philippines has 22 athletes in the Summer Games.
