Meanwhile, Arnold Clavio shared a screenshot of Chino's message to him when the former was hospitalized because of a hemorrhagic stroke in June.
"Kinumusta mo pa ako noong June 15, ilang araw matapos ako ay nagkaroon ng hemorrhagic stroke. Rest in peace bro. Enjoy your journey. Paki-kumusta mo na rin kami kay ama, Mike Enriquez. Paalam," said.

"Kuya Chino helped me when I first came to GMA News Online, a young girl fresh out of college trying to write articles about the Philippine Azkals. It was a big story back then. Huge by any Philippine sports standards. And he guided me, introduced me to people, and did stakeouts with me," Mav wrote.
"Condolences to all his loved ones," she added.
