Pinoy sprinter Beram, decathlete Toledo give PHL 2 more gold medals
The Philippines' gold medal haul at the Southeast Asian Games went further up to 10, after two Pinoys in athletics dashed their way to gold medal victory Wednesday night.
Decathlete Aries Toledo picked up the gold medal in the Men's Decathlon, after obtaining a total score of 7,443 points from 10 different track and field events.
He bested Thailand and Vietnam's athletes, who secured silver and bronze medals, respectively.

Shortly after Toledo's victory, sprinter Trenten Anthony Beram followed suit and snatched a gold medal in the Men's 200 meters, after clocking in at 20.84 seconds and beating Thailand and Malaysia.

Filipino-American sprinter Eric Cray earlier gave the Philippines its eight gold medal in the Men's 400-m. hurdles.
The Philippines remains in sixth place with 10 gold medals, 15 silver, 21 bronze, for a total of 46 medals.
Host country Malaysia remains the leader with 121 medals, of which 51 are gold, 38 are silver, 32 are bronze. — MDM, GMA News
