PHL bags 8th gold medal via sprinter Eric Cray, still in 6th place in SEA Games
The Philippines now has eight gold medals in the 2017 SEA Games, but remains in sixth place — right in the middle of the overall ranking of the 11-country biennial multi-sport event.
The country's latest gold medal came courtesy of Filipino-American sprinter Eric Cray, who beat Vietnam and Indonesia to the finish line of the men's 400-meter hurdles with an official time of 50.03 seconds, defending his title.
