Games Tuesday Aguilar Sports Complex 10 a.m. - ACSAT vs Olivarez College 11:30 a.m. - EAC vs UCN 1 p.m. - La Salle-Dasmariñas vs PSBA 2:30 p.m. - St. Francis vs Las Pinas College The St. Francis of Assisi College Doves and the Philippine School of Business Administration (PSBA) Jaguars bounced back from losses they suffered earlier in the week with big wins Friday in the sixth Universities and Colleges Athletic Association (UCAA) men's basketball tournament at the Emilio Aguinaldo College Gym in Manila. The Doves kept up a big offensive run from start to finish to clobber the La Salle-Dasmariñas Patriots, 72-58, the league said in a statement. The Jaguars weathered a late rally and got two decisive free throws from Vic Manuel in the last 19 seconds, allowing them to prevail over the Olivarez College Sea Lions, 83-80. The pair of wins enabled the Doves and Jaguars to improve their grip on second spot with their 2-1 records in the tournament. E.S. Santos unloaded 15 points, including a triple, as the Doves took a 16-6 lead with 2:38 to go in the opening period. They limited the Patriots to just nine points in the second quarter and got a barrage of treys from Santos, Leomer Losentes, and James Castañarez, enabling the Doves to take charge with a 41-21 spread. "Maganda ang outside shooting namin, kaya nakalamang kami nang husto," Doves coach Luis Monfort said. The Doves are coming off an 81-83 setback to the Asian College of Science and Technology (ACSAT) Lightnings. The Sea Lions were actually ahead at 76-74 after a driving shot by Michael Juico, but the Jaguars, starring Thirdy Pabillore and Vic Manuel, turned the tables around with a triple and a pair of penetrations to seize control at 83-76. - GMANews.TV
