Nike Summer League: FEU, La Salle, UP win

Far Eastern University, La Salle and University of the Philippines posted another victory in the continuation of the 2007 Nike Summer League basketball tournament Saturday at the FEU gym. FEU subdued National University, 75-65, to post its fifth straight win and clinch a quarterfinals berth while La Salle-Taft demolished Olivarez College, 120-69, for its third straight win in Group B and UP shocked UAAP champion University of Santo Tomas, 78-70, for its first win in three outings. In other results, Philippine Christian University-Dams downed San Beda-Alabang, 69-55, and University of the East nipped San Beda-Alabang, 61-51, for its third win in five outings. In the junior games, La Salle Zobel edged PCU, 78-73, and PCCr downed Adamson, 70-67. - GMANews.TV
