UAAP: For RR Garcia, Tams right about ready to take it all

Far Eastern University sits comfortably at the top of the standings, and at least from former UAAP MVP RR Garcia, the Tamaraws are just about ready to win the championship.

"Kasi halos lahat sila nagagamit na. Kaso si Escoto na-injure," said Garcia.

With their pieces falling in to place just at the right time, the former King Tam now highlights on-court chemistry as the main factor in ensuring a successful season.

Garcia further shared that it favors FEU that most of the attention is on other teams like La Ateneo, La Salle, and even NU:

"Mas ok nga yon kasi sa papers sinasabi nila Ateneo, La Salle (at) NU. Yung FEU, wala, diba? Kasi nung time namin, halos lahat sila sinasabi nila sa papers (FEU) tapos bumababa kami. Ngayon wala silang sinasabi.

The Barako Bull guard also took the time to recognize the development of former second stringers and role players who now lead the current squad.

But as he had stressed, FEU needs more than two pieces to topple other balanced teams like Ateneo and La Salle:

Finally, the Zamboanga native also recognized FEU's stellar recruitment, being able to pool players from all around to assemble competitive team.

- GMA News
