UP Diliman tops national frisbee championship

 

DLSU started the scoring but UPD kept flicking quick counters to keep the match even until they went ahead at 4-3. The former could only keep equalizing until Diliman's VII pulled away starting at 11-10.

 

Reaching the end game, the Taft squad spoiled at least three crucial assists in the endzone as their rivals pulled away to close the match at 14-11.

 

In the earlier Pool A match, University of Santo Tomas stole a podium finish for 3rd from Ateneo de Manila University. UP Los Baños, meanwhile, topped Pool B with a 14-3 win against Far Eastern University in their Finals encounter.

 

Other competitors for the title were Polytechnic University, DLSU College of Saint Benilde, University of Asia and the Pacific, DLSU Dasmariñas, Centro Escolar University, and Entrepeneurs School of Asia. - AMD, GMA News
