PBA player Ali Peek, family mull options
Professional basketball player Albert Henry "Ali" Peek, who survived a shooting incident in Mandaluyong City last Monday, is now mulling his "options" with his family, his coach said late Wednesday. Talk'N'Text coach Vincent "Chot" Reyes said Peek and his family are taking their time before deciding what to do next. "All options have been presented. They are now taking their time before deciding on next steps," he said in a post on his Twitter account. He did not elaborate, but also reiterated Peek's request for understanding for his "No Visitor" policy. "To our PBA family & media: Ali is asking for understanding re his strict no visitor policy. He needs time to discuss things w his family," Reyes said. An unidentified assailant shot and wounded Peek outside a gym in Mandaluyong City Monday night. Peek was rushed to a hospital for treatment. Police are looking for the suspect, even as a P500,000 reward had been offered for information leading to the assailant's arrest. â ELR, GMA News
