Melvin Jerusalem reveals what to watch out for on Mexican foe Luis Castillo

WBC world strawweight champion Melvin Jerusalem knows what to expect when he defends his title against Luis Castillo of Mexico in the main event of Blow by Blow on Sunday, September 22 at Mandaluyong City College.

Jerusalem, 22-3 with 12 knockouts as a professional boxer, will defend his title for the first time against the number one contender Castillo. According to the Filipino, there is one punch he has to watch out for on fight night.

"We watched his fight over and over with my coach and observed what he does," Jerusalem said during the pre-fight press conference earlier today at Manila Hotel.

"We train and crafted a plan how to attack him. What [stood out] was his overhand but we can win this fight."

Castillo, meanwhile, is no pushover. Holding a perfect record of 21-0-1 with 13 knockouts, the 27-year-old from Mexico holds a significant height and reach advantage over Jerusalem, who vowed that he would leave no stone unturned in the upcoming fight.

"It has always been my dream to defend my world title in the country. I am ready to sacrifice myself to win this fight," Jerusalem stated.
