Carl Jammes Martin stops Mexican foe in international debut

Super bantamweight prospect Carl Jammes Martin continued his winning ways following a second-round stoppage in his international debut against Anthony Jimenez Salas on Saturday (Philippine time) in Sinaloa, Mexico.

Martin, 25, gauged what his opponent had to offer in the early going before unleashing his straight left hand and right hook on top. In round 2, Martin stepped on the gas and dropped his Mexican foe twice before putting him away for good later in the stanza.

The ten-round non-title bout was Martin's first fight outside of the Philippines, improving his perfect record to 24-0 with 19 knockouts.
