Nesthy Petecio gets warm welcome from Davaoeños in homecoming

Days after Nesthy Petecio and other Philippine Olympians had a heroes' parade in Manila, the two-time Olympic boxing medalist was also warmly welcomed in Davao City.

Petecio was welcomed by fellow Davaoeños in her homecoming on Wednesday.

Before going to the Davao City Hall, Petecio also had a motorcade, according to a report by Rgil Relator of GMA Regional TV One Mindanao.

Petecio bagged a bronze medal in the Paris Games, and became the first Filipino boxer to get two medals from the Olympics after bringing home a silver from Tokyo three years ago.
