Aira Villegas receives Olympic bronze medal

Aira Villegas received her 2024 Paris Olympics bronze medal on Saturday.

Villegas claimed a bronze medal after falling short against Turkiye's Buse Naz Cakiroglu in the semis of the women's 50kg event.

Kazakhstan's Nazym Kyzaibay also settled for bronze in the said weight division.

China's Wu Yu won the gold medal, while Cakiroglu bagged the silver medal.

The Philippines has four medals from the Summer Games with two from gymnast Carlos Yulo and another bronze from fellow boxer Nesthy Petecio.
