Kenneth Llover decisions Edward Heno to capture WBC Asia Continental title

Unbeaten prospect Kenneth Llover captured the vacant WBC Asia Continental bantamweight title following a unanimous decision nod over Edward Heno last Sunday at General Trias Convention Center in Cavite.

The 20-year-old Llover dictated the tempo with his crisp jabs and strong left straight in the early going. Heno, to his credit, took his opponent's best punches and kept moving forward throwing shots of his own.

Heno was on the attack from the middle rounds up to the final round, pinning Llover to the ropes and then throwing his looping left before going to the body. Llover, however, was unfazed and looked for openings to land his left uppercut and patented one-two.

All three judges saw the fight for Llover after twelve rounds of action, improving his unblemished record to 11-0 with 7 knockouts while Heno fell to 15-4-6 with 5 knockouts. The scorecards were 116-112 across the board.
