Boxer Carl Jammes Martin to take his act overseas once visa is out

It may only be a matter of time before super bantamweight prospect Carl Jammes Martin gets to take his act outside of the Philippines.

Martin, who works with MP Promotions President Sean Gibbons, has fought all his fights thus far in the Philippines.

Hungry for a big break in the international scene, the 24-year-old revealed that his US visa is now in the works and could come out anytime soon.

"We are just waiting for my visa. While waiting for my visa we told Sir Sean [Gibbons] to give us a fight so there would be no ring rust. We are going out of the country," Martin said.

One of the hottest prospects coming out of the Philippines, Martin, who holds an unbeaten record of 22-0 with 17 knockouts, added another win to his perfect record last Saturday after he defeated Tanzania's Oscar Duge via unanimous decision.

Martin plans to rest and then reassemble with his team in two weeks to discuss what's next.

"For now I will take a rest with my family. After a week or two, I will talk to my team about what's next for me. We will do better in our next [fight] preparation," Martin shared.
