Mayweather visits Philippines anew, puts an end to Pacquiao rematch rumors
Boxing icon Floyd Mayweather Jr. is back in the Philippines.
According to a Saksi report on Wednesday, Mayweather is in the country for a brand endorsement.
The boxing icon said that in his return to the Philippines, he wants to help more Filipinos whom he considers as siblings, especially with the recent onslaught of super typhoon Karding.
In a GMA Network report, Mayweather called the Philippines his "adoptive home."
"When I come here, you guys embrace me with open arms and treat me so well, it is so nice," he said.
Mayweather also put an end to speculations of another fight with Manny Pacquiao after they met in Japan over the weekend.
"I've already had my hard fights from 1987 to 2017. Now everything is just entertaining people and just having fun," he said.
The two icons met in the ring in 2015, with Mayweather winning the said match.
