Veteran analyst predicts clear cut win for Manny Pacquiao over Errol Spence

Veteran broadcaster and sports analyst Chino Trinidad is predicting that Manny Pacquiao will beat WBC and IBF world welterweight champion Errol Spence Jr. when they lock horns on August 21.

Trinidad previously said the Filipino boxing icon should no longer be fighting at 42 years old, agreeing with Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s comments about his old foe.

Nevertheless, he thinks that Pacman can still carve out a decisive victory over Spence.

"Manny Pacquiao wins, but if it is there an opportunity [for a knockout] and Spence comes in, it will be adios patria adorada for him early," Trinidad told GMA News Online.

"Spence is crafty, he has movement, but my question is the damage he took from that accident," he added.

Trinidad was referring to Spence's car crash incident in October 2019 when the American was left in critical condition at a hospital. He recovered from the accident and has fought once since then, but Trinidad is convinced that Spence is no longer the same fighter since that fateful night.

"I don't see Manny Pacquiao losing this fight. He will and he must win this fight at all cost because there is too much at stake for him in this fight," he said.
