Jake Paul to fight former UFC champ Tyron Woodley —report

YouTube sensation Jake Paul will duke it out against former UFC welterweight world champion Tyron Woodley in his next boxing fight, The Athletic reported.

Paul has recently signed with Showtime and is coming off a first-round knockout win last April over Woodley's teammate, ex-Bellator and ONE Championship welterweight champion Ben Askren.

"Sources: Jake Paul and former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley have agreed to a deal for a boxing match," The Athletic writer Mike Coppinger tweeted.

"Jake recently signed a multi-fight deal with Showtime. Friday face-off in Miami planned to promote the event. Paul coming off first-round KO of Ben Askren."

Paul, 24, holds a professional boxing record of 3-0 with three knockouts against relatively weak opposition.

Woodley could be his toughest fight to date, though the ex-mixed martial arts champion is 39 years old and has lost four of his last fights before he was cut by the UFC.
