Manny Pacquiao grinds heavy bag with trademark hand speed

Eight-division champion Manny Pacquiao won’t get back in the ring until the pandemic is over but that does not mean he’s letting up on his fitness.

In a recent post on his social media, the Filipino boxing icon showcased his trademark hand speed as he grinded away on a heavy bag that stood on the side of a basketball court.

Pacquiao (69-7-2, 39KOs) last saw action when he won the WBA super welterweight title after he toppled the previously unbeaten Keith Thurman via split decision in July 2019.

The likes of WBC and IBF world welterweight champion Errol Spence Jr. and WBO world welterweight champion Terence Crawford have surfaced as Pacquiao’s next possible foe while four-division champion Mikey Garcia has recently expressed his desire to face the Filipino boxing icon. —KG, GMA News
