Filipino boxer John Riel Casimero knocks out Mexican boxer Cesar Ramirez for the WBO Interim Bantamweight championship
Filipino boxer John Riel "Quadro Alas" Casimero knocked out Mexican boxer Cesar Ramirez for the WBO Interim Bantamweight championship fight on Saturday evening.
In a report on Batilanghali Sunday, Mav Gonzales said Casimero was already aggressive at the beginning of their fight.
On the seventh round Ramirez fell off the ring and on the tenth round Ramirez' nose bled. On the eleventh round, he was knocked out.
"Nung first round, parang ako lang sumusuntok kaya ako 'yong napapagod kaya sabi ko sa sarili ko gusto ko sumabay din siya para pareho kami talagang pagod, nung last round natamaan ko siya sa upper malakas na 'yon may hook rin na malakas kaya bagsak na siya," Casimero said.
Senator Manny Pacquiao who is also a promoter of the fight was present to watch the championship.
