Pinoy fighter Tepora wins WBA title in Pacquiao-Matthysse undercard

Cebu City-based Jhack Tepora scored the biggest victory of his career on Sunday in the undercard of the Manny Pacquiao-Lucas Matthysse showdown in Malaysia.

Tepora scored a sensational technical knockout victory in the ninth round against Mexican fighter Edivaldo Ortega to win the international World Boxing Association featherweight championship.

With the victory, Tepora improved his undefeated record to 22-0 with 17 knockouts. --JST, GMA News
