Bradley warns: Crawford can beat Pacquiao

Reigning WBO world welterweight champion Timothy Bradley is not shutting his door for a possible third bout with Manny Pacquiao, but he also won't mind seeing Terence Crawford get the fight instead.

Bradley, together with Crawford and Amir Khan, are on the shortlist of Pacquiao's possible opponents for his targeted ring return in 2016.

"I wouldn't mind seeing a young lion get a shot at Pacquiao before Pacquiao leaves," Bradley told boxingscene.com.

"Terence Crawford is a good friend of mine and I would like to see him get that shot.  But of course I would fight Pacquiao in a rubber match."

Asked of Crawford's chances against the Filipino ring icon, Bradley suggests that his fellow American is capable of pulling a win.

"I think Crawford has a very good chance of beating Manny Pacquiao. We don't know how Manny Pacquiao is going to come back." —JM Siasat/JST, GMA News
