Freddie Roach 'praises' Floyd Mayweather: He ran very well

For Manny Pacquiao's trainer Freddie Roach, Floyd Mayweather did a great job in the fight... running.

So he was surprised when judges gave Mayweather a wide unanimous decision victory over the Filipino ring icon.

"I thought it was a very close fight," said Roach, who admitted that Pacquiao was affected by a shoulder injury during the match.



Roach added that he thought the judges should have given Pacquiao rounds where Mayweather was only backpedalling.

"I thought he ran very well," said Roach. "He was just running, moving backwards and I feel Manny should have won a lot of those rounds because he was the aggressor." -- JST, GMA News
