HBO announcer Max Kellerman earns ire of fans for questions to Pacquiao
Max Kellerman trended on twitter shortly after his post-fight interview with Manny Pacquiao following the boxer's unanimous decision loss against Floyd Mayweather Jr. at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday (Sunday PHL time).
Pacquiao told him that he thought he won the fight, and Kellerman asked a follow-up question in a what sounded like a tone of disbelief: "You thought you won the fight? Why?"
Fans and other personalities took their rage to Twitter after the fight, catapulting Kellerman into the trending topics of the microblogging site in just a span of a few minutes.

@Max_Kellerman it amazes me you aren't living off unemployment. The only thing that rivals your awful commentary is your domestic abuse.

This just confirms why I don't watch boxing. And that #MaxKellerman dude should lose his job for that horribly opinionated interview.

The thing I took away from tonight's fight is that Max Kellerman's interview skills are lacking.

And that Max Kellerman post-fight interview with Pacquiao was horrible. Guy is supposed to act objective. Bad questions, wrong tone.
— Jacob Dennis (@jakeyd_8) May 3, 2015
@Max_Kellerman, it would serve you well to learn how to be respectful. Completely classless in that interview.

Kellerman responded to the barrage of tweets and mentions by defending himself, saying that he loves Manny Pacquiao but he had to ask the Filipino ring icon to elaborate why he disagreed with the fight's judges.
.@MannyPacquiao fans: I love Manny. He's pleasure to deal with & to watch fight. Manny disagreed w/judges. Had to ask him about it. #MayPac
