Gilas Pilipinas parades same roster vs New Zealand in final FIBA Asia Cup qualifier

Gilas Pilipinas will parade the same roster when it goes against New Zealand in its final game in the FIBA Asia Cup Qualifiers on Sunday morning.
After losing to Chinese Taipei, 91-84, last Thursday, the team composed of Japeth Aguilar, Justin Brownlee, AJ Edu, June Mar Fajardo, Jamie Malonzo, Chris Newsome, Calvin Oftana, CJ Perez, Kevin Quiambao, Dwight Ramos, Carl Tamayo, and Scottie Thompson will try to bounce back, this time against the mighty Tall Blacks.
National team head coach previously vowed for Gilas to be better after falling short against Chinese Taipei.
"Only thing we can do at this point is move on. I will be better. We will be better," Cone said in a social media post.
Back in the November window of the qualifiers, Gilas defeated New Zealand for the first time at home, 93-89.
Gilas is already assured of a spot in the FIBA Asia Cup which will be held in Saudi Arabia in August.
