RJ Abarrientos posts alleged threats he received after Barangay Ginebra loss to Meralco

Barangay Ginebra rookie RJ Abarrientos posted on social media the alleged threats he received following Barangay Ginebra's loss to Meralco in Game 2 of the PBA Commissioner's Cup quarterfinals Friday.
Abarrientos' squad fell to the Bolts, 108-104, as the best-of-three series was forced to a do-or-die match on Sunday.
The Barangay Ginebra rookie had a chance to at least tie the game and force extra period as he made a late attempt from beyond the four-point arc. However, it did not connect and Chris Newsome eventually grabbed the rebound to hand the victory to the Bolts.
"Grabe talaga mga tao sa social media. Talo lang sa pusta, biglang death threats gamit dummy accounts, pati pamilya dinadamay pa," Abarrientos wrote on an Instagram story.
"Paki-report! Nakakaalarma na 'yung ganitong ugali."
He then shared samples of comments he received.
"Naglalaro kami nang maayos, at trabaho namin 'to, parte ng basketball ang matalo. Sa mga kapwa ko players, 'di dapat tinotolerate 'yung ganito," he added.
Abarrientos had 12 points, three assists, two steals, and a rebound in the Game 2 loss.
