Carl Tamayo drops 37 points in Changwon's loss vs Seoul
Carl Tamayo dropped a career-high 37 points on Thursday but his team Changwon LG Sakers fell to Seoul Samsung, 92-88, in the Korean Basketball League.
Tamayo waxed hot, making 17 of his 19 field goal attempts, en route to the career high. The former University of the Philippines standout also had seven rebounds and three assists in the loss.
Tamayo's teammate Darryl Monroe and Yang Jun-seok had 12 points apiece, while Kofi Cockburn led Seoul with 24 points.
Changwon slipped to 14-13, while Seoul improved to 20-6 to sit atop the league standings.
Tamayo's explosive outing came just days after SJ Belangel's 36-point eruption for the Daegu Kogas Pegasus.
