Luo Yi, Beatrix, or Joy? Fnatic ONIC shares initial choices for M6 skins

KUALA LUMPUR — Members of Fnatic ONIC Philippines shared their initial choices for champion and Finals MVP skins after winning the M6 World Championship last Sunday at the Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Gold laner Duane "Kelra" Pillas, who was hailed the Finals MVP in their 4-1 triumph over Team Liquid Indonesia, said he wants to have a special skin for his signature hero Beatrix.

Kelra is known for his masterful use of the marksman hero, which was the one he utilized during the crucial Game 4 of the best-of-seven grand finals against the Indonesians.

In that game, TLID banned almost all of Kelra's comfort picks with Wanwan, Irithel, and Bruno but Beatrix did the magic as Kelra unleashed eight kills and five assists against no death en route to a 3-1 lead.

Aside from Beatrix, Fnatic ONIC also is leaning towards Luo Yi or Joy for the champion skin. Luo Yi is one of mid laner Frince "Super Frince" Ramirez's favorite heroes while Joy is also one the squad's trademark heroes for jungler Cyric "K1NGKONG" Perez.

But head coach Tony "Ynot" Senedrin said nothing is final yet as they have yet to sit down and talk with publisher Moonton about the commemorative skins.

For the fifth straight time, the Philippines will get to choose the M-series skins with M2 champion Bren going for assassin Lancelot and M3 champion Blacklist International selecting support Estes.

M4 champion Echo, meanwhile, chose fighter Chou last year while Falcons AP. Bren selected Brody for the M5 champion skin and Paquito for the inaugural Finals MVP skin by exp laner David "FlapTzy" Canon, who won the award after they defeated Onic Indonesia.
