La Salle's Kevin Quiambao is UAAP MVP anew
For the second straight season, De La Salle University's Kevin Quiambao is once again the UAAP men's basketball Most Valuable Player.
At the end of the elimination round, Quiambao posted averages of 16.64 points, 8.64 rebounds, 4.07 assists, and 1.0 steal per game to get 81.357 statistical points.
This is his second MVP award as he also bagged last season's top individual plum.
Joining Quiambao in the Mythical Five are fellow Green Archer Mike Phillips (74.929 SPs), University of the Philippines' JD Cagulangan (69.167 SPs), Far Eastern University's Mo Konateh (68.643) and University of Santo Tomas' Nic Cabañero (61.0 SPs).
FEU's Veejay Pre, meanwhile, was named as Rookie of the Year.
On the women's side, Kacey dela Rosa of Ateneo de Manila University was crowned as the MVP anew as she led the stats race with 96.286 SPs. Joining her in the Mythical Team are UST's Kent Pastrana (79.857), UP's Louna Ozar (67.571), Ateneo's Sarah Makanjoula (65.786 SPs) and National University's Angelica Surada (62.0 SPs).
NU's Cielo Pagdulagan was named as Rookie fo the Year.
