Troy Rosario listed in Ginebra’s Commissioner’s Cup roster

Troy Rosario has been listed as part of Barangay Ginebra’s roster for the upcoming PBA Season 49 Commissioner’s Cup.

The 32-year-old veteran forward was acquired by the Gin Kings as an unrestricted free agent after ending his contract with Blackwater, which he played for since 2022.

Rosario’s arrival would help fill the frontcourt hole for Ginebra after big man Isaac Go and wing Jamie Malonzo sustained separate injuries in the past months.

He will join Scottie Thompson, Japeth Aguilar, Maverick Ahanmisi, Stephen Holt, and resident import Justin Brownlee in their redemption bid after losing out on the title in the previous Governors’ Cup.

With Rosario in, Ginebra has also excluded Joe Devance, who came out of retirement and signed a short contract last September with the franchise due to a depleted lineup.
