Rondae Hollis-Jefferson returns for another tour of duty with TNT in PBA Commissioner's Cup
Rondae Hollis-Jefferson will run it back with TNT as he returns for another stint when the Tropang Giga starts its campaign in the upcoming PBA Season 49 Commissioner's Cup next week.
The American import is fresh off helping the Tropang Giga claim the recent Governors' Cup title as they won their second straight championship in the import-reinforced conference.
Hollis-Jefferson will also see familiar foes with resident import Justin Brownlee returning to help Barangay Ginebra bounce back from the finals loss to TNT.
Also making a comeback are George King for Blackwater and Ricardo Ratliffe for Magnolia while Meralco, NorthPort, Phoenix, Terrafirma, and Rain or Shine will parade new faces in the season-ending conference.
The Bolts tapped Akil Mitchell who was already their reinforcement during their 81-80 win over Busan KCC Egis in the EASL while the Batang Pier are bringing in the 29-year old Kavell Bigby-Williams.
The Fuel Masters and the Elaso Painters got the services of Donovan Smith and Kenneth Kadji, respectively. Earlier, NLEX and the retooled Converge announced that they have tapped former NBA players Ed Davis and Cheick Diallo as their imports, respectively.
The Commissioner's Cup will kick off next week with Converge taking on Terrafirma, which will see Jordan Heading making his PBA debut with the FiberXers against the same team that drafted him in 2020.
After that, guest team Eastern from Hong Kong will open its bid against Phoenix both at the PhilSports Arena.
