Jordan Heading heads to Converge in trade with Terrafirma
Jordan Heading is set for a highly-anticipated debut in the PBA after the prized guard was involved in a trade between Converge and Terrafirma on Tuesday.
The 28-year-old guard is now part of the FiberXers while the Dyip will acquire the rights to Aljun Melecio, Keith Zaldivar, and a Season 51 first round pick.
Heading was the first overall pick during the 2020 PBA Special Rookie Draft, but did not see action with Terrafirma and instead went on playing in various overseas leagues.
The Filipino-Australian sharpshooter suited up for Taichung Wagor Suns in T1 league in Taiwan before flying to Japan to reinforce Nagasaki Velca in B. League. Previously, he represented the Philippines under the Strong Group Athletics during the 2024 William Jones Cup, where the squad defeated Chinese Taipei to reign supreme.
In Converge, Heading will get to reunite with Converge assistant coach Charles Tiu, who called the shots during their Jones Cup title run.
