LeBron James, son Bronny make NBA history; Boston Celtics raise championship banner in opening night

The 2024-25 season of the NBA opened on Wednesday (Philippine time) marked by two milestones.

First, the Boston Celtics raised the banner for their 18th title and the players were given their championship rings before their game against the New York Knicks.

The Celtics opened their title defense bid with a win against the Knicks, 132-109.

Meanwhile, at the Crypto.com Arena, LeBron James and his son Bronny made history as they became the first father and son duo to share the court in the NBA.

The Lakers opened their season by defeating the Minnesota Timberwolves, 110-103.
